Concert Reminder - June 1st - Moors & McCumber!

Summer is here! Enjoy the Memorial Day weekend and then come see all your festival friends at the Evergreen Lake House. This coming Wednesday, June 1st, we welcome acoustic duo Moors & McCumber!

James Moors and Kort McCumber will bring an evening of finely crafted songs that vary between rootsy folk and melodic pop. A great evening of music to open the EPRD Summer Concert Series.

And we continue the tradition of booking Evergreen School of Music as the opening act for our season opening concert. Kevin Alumbaugh brings his very talented students to the Lake House Park stage. These young people have been working very hard preparing for this show - they are always very excited to perform for their hometown! Come early and give them a listen - they will impress.

Admission is always free! Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, food and drink and enjoy our beautiful Lake House Park venue on the opening night of our community's most loved summer event.

Please remember our difficult parking situation and plan accordingly. VIP Parking is sold out for the season! The remaining free parking will be taken very early in the day. Please use our shuttles which will run from Christ the King Church on Highway 74 and the Wulf Rec Center south of Evergreen High School. Don't be afraid to give up your vehicle! It's very convenient and we bring you right to the Lake House Park.

Please do not park at the Lakepoint Center (they have indicated they WILL tow). And please do not park illegally in the local neighborhoods. Let's be good neighbors - that's very important for the Summer Concert Series.

See you there!  ;^)

Another rumor to squash!!

Keep them coming - I'm an expert at this now . . .

Some sharp commentary for the rumor mongers.  Not my quote but entirely appropriate:

"At this point I don't know what's worse... a person who is full of envy and mental issues spreading rumors and lies, or the people with not enough education or common sense who believe them."

The latest rumor we have heard is that the Summer Concert Series is coming to an end after this year.  Ugh!

Now while there are people in this community who would like to see this result, THIS IS PROFOUNDLY AND UTTERLY UNTRUE.

Yes, I am yelling.  Nuff said.  Long live the EPRD Summer Concert Series!

See you there ;^)

Window Flyers are here!

These are 11" x 17" posters featuring the EPRD Summer Concert Series schedule and the artwork of Raina Gentry.    If you would like one of these for your business, please contact us at The first Lake House concert is two weeks from this coming Wednesday!  See you there!  ;^)

!! VIP Parking !! SOLD OUT !!

I suspected this would happen this year.  All VIP Parking has sold out for the 2016 EPRD Summer Concert Series!!

At each concert there will be approximately 50 spaces available on a first come basis.

Complimentary shuttles are available from Wulf Rec Center and Christ the King Church.

Admission to the concerts is always free.  See you on June 1st!!

VIP Parking!! The rumor mill is in full swing . . .

VIP Parking will probably sell out before the season starts this year.  Call the Lake House now if you are interested in purchasing spots for the 2016 EPRD Summer Concert Series. 720.880.1300

Also, I heard a rumor (you know how Evergreen is) that all spots at the Lake House were going to be sold as VIP Parking this year.  And of course, like most rumors, that turns out to be untrue.

There are 130 parking spots at the Evergreen Lake House.  We use approximately 30 spots for event production use (bands, sound personnel, management).  Of the remaining 100 spots, 50 are sold as VIP Parking.  The other 50 are available on a first come basis.

It's a tough parking situation and that's just the way it is until someone steps up and builds a huge underground parking complex for the downtown Evergreen area.  LOL

See you in 4 weeks!!   ;^)

August 26th - The Season Finale - Tunisia!!

The season finale is here! That's right and we have the best show band in Denver, Tunisia. Appearing for the sixth time at the EPRD Summer Concert Series, Tunisia brings their great energy and consummate musicianship to the Lake House Park stage. You better bring your dancing shoes because you won't be able to sit still.

Opening the concert at 5:00 pm will be Megan Burtt and the Cure For Love.

Arrive early to get a good spot. And remember, VIP Parking is SOLD OUT. So plan accordingly.

Wulf Rec Center Shuttles

Hi all,

Quick announcement:

There will be no shuttle service from the Wulf Rec Center for the Dakota Blonde concert tonight. We will have shuttle service from the Christ the King Park n Ride. Please make plans accordingly and help spread the word!

More crazy rumors . . .

Hi all,

There are rumors circulating that there will be 3000 to 4000 people at next week's Dakota Blonde concert. This rumor has made it all the way to the JeffCo Sheriff's Department and of course has caused some consternation.

Our biggest draw over the years has been for the funk band Tunisia. They have performed five times and attendance at those concerts has come in at about 1200 people. The difficulty of getting to the Lake House Park because of the limited parking and shuttles is the biggest factor limiting attendance to the EPRD Summer Concert Series. Our concerts just never get bigger than about 1200 attendees. That's the way we like it.

With good weather, Dakota Blonde will attract a very good crowd.  Mary Huckins and company always give a great performance. That is why this will be their fifth performance at the EPRD Summer Concert Series. And they have always drawn 800 to 1000 concert guests which is what we expect this coming Wednesday as well ;^)

Who is starting these crazy rumors? Please stop it - this is nothing short of lunacy.

Please help spread the word . . .
